Here it is...

So right when I was pretty much done with xanga, everyone starts yelling at me for not blogging. Thanks for being interested in my life, everyone! Unfortunately, it is just not that interesting right now. Here's the latest...

I am back to school. It is even harder than I thought. The post cancer stuff really affects me at school and it doesn't always seem right to be there, but that is the way life goes. I have calc by myself. That's right! I'm the only student. I was afraid it would be too weird, but I am glad I am taking it because I am learning a lot and feel that I will be much more prepared for the ACT. I am really stressing about college because I can't make up my mind on anything. I feel way too young to determine the rest of my life. It scares me.

Volleyball is going well. We took 2nd in our pre-season tourny. So far, Tower Grove is the only school we have lost to. We have 3 games this wk, but I for sure will not be able to play in mondays or tuesdays game. We will see about thursday.

The broviac is out! The dr. said to take it easy for a wk so that is why I can't play monday and tuesday. No more tubes in my chest, to more daily saline flushing, no more changing the dressing, no more ace bandage wrapping it everytime I want to run or play sports. Now it is yes to swimming! I can't wait. I hope we get to take the boat out so I can ski and tube because I really missed that this summer!

My second make-a-wish was made and it has been approved. We are shooting for Oct. 30, but the date is not official yet. We are going to the Bahamas and staying at The Atlantis. For any of you that have seen the mary-kate and ashley movie "Holiday in the Sun" that is the place we are staying. You can check it out at atlantis.com. My agents called yesterday and asked if I would like to swim with the dolphins. Heck yes! I'm pumped! I am really sad, however, because Sam will not be joining us. She is all caught up in that thing called college where they don't let you miss more than like 2 days. JERKS!!

Church is great right now. I am finally getting plugged in with the youth group again and I love them. Mom, Brandy, and I went up there yesterday to explore the new worship center and it is incredible. Mark your calendars....September 10th is our first Sunday in there. Everyone should come join us...trust me, there is a lot of space. Mud volleyball is this Tuesday. I think it starts at like 6:30 or 7 and it's tons of FUN!! I can't do it this yr since I still have a hole from my broviac and it could get infected, but I will be up there taking pics. We would love to see you there.

Hey Everyone! Today I am reporting (blogging) from Minnesota. Some of you might be wondering what is in Minnesota...MALL OF AMERICA (and IKEA)! It is amazing. Yesterday we shopped from 10am-9pm and then hit up the movies to rest our tired feet. We saw monster house and I have to say that I loved it. I don't think I have ever really loved cartoon or animated movies, but due to the character Chowder (with whom I feel in love with), I loved that movie. There are a few parts in the movie where we all laughed, looked at each other, and said "Katie Rundell" because that is who Chowder reminded us of at times. Speaking of Katie...I miss her. Speaking of miss...I REALLY miss Brandy and wish she was here. Family vacation is not the same when you are missing family members! 

In an hour our friends from Texas will be arriving to join us on this shopping spree. Today won't be much of a shopping day though. No, today we are playing on the amusement park in the middle MOA. Dad should enjoy today. I think he might have been bored out of his mind yesterday.

San Diego was amazing!

Thank you to everyone who was at the party last night! It was a blast thanks to all of you! You guys are the best! It was soo good to see all of you!

1. Fourth of July was amazing. I was tired and didn't really care to go out or see fireworks or anything...I know, I'm a party pooper. The good news is that everything worked out differently (God works in funny ways) and it turned out to be a relaxing, yet extremely fun night! Oh, and I did end up seeing fireworks...5 different places actually!

2. Yesterday was bitter sweet. I went up to school and did chemistry with Mrs. Speicher. The good news is that I remembered a lot more than I thought I would, and it is all going smoothly. The rest of my class had me worried, but it is coming pretty naturally. We did 3 chapters in 2 hrs so we will only need to meet a few more times. We meet again tomorrow to get in another 3 chapters. Even though it is summer and I don't usually do school work, it is kind of exciting because I am feeling much more prepared and even a little smart!

3. Today I went to clinic and got lots of platelets. Had to get juiced up before the trip. Good news...I had enough blood so I didn't have to get any. I am terrified of getting blood now due to the last reaction.

4. San Diego is in 2 days and I am amped!!! Cali is calling my name and I am answering! I am not ready what so ever, but I don't care because this is a stress free trip and I am just going with the flow.

5. Brandy is gone in Vegas and I miss her and she comes back Saturday night and I leave Saturday morning so I will not see her until I get back on the 13th. I must admit that I love getting her whole bed to myself. It is the most comfortable and I love it (esp. when I get it to myself)!
